High School (Grades 9-12) Tuition Scholarships
The High School Tuition Scholarship application form for 2025-2026 will be available beginning on January 17, 2025. The submission deadline for the application with required accompanying materials is on or before APRIL 3, 2025.
Overview
To ensure a successful college or university experience, solid preparation in high school is crucial. The Leon N. Weiner Education Foundation (LNWEF) will provide up to $5000 per year in financial assistance to bright, high achieving, hard-working students who need to seek out tuition-based high schools.
All scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the school on the awardee’s behalf. Scholarships are not automatically renewed, however, applicants may reapply in subsequent years.
Eligibility
US citizen or legal resident of the US
Resident in good standing of a property located in full or in part by Leon N. Weiner and Associates or managed by Arbor Management, LLC
Achieving passing grades with a minimum C average at current school

For a resident to be eligible to apply for and receive LNWEF scholarship funds, either for him/herself or for any other person residing in his/her apartment, such resident must be in “good standing.” Good standing is defined as (1) current on all rents and fees due on his/her apartment; (2) no outstanding litigation or arbitration actions between the tenant and his/her landlord; and (3) no additional concerns presented by apartment management.

Good scholastic standing and behavioral status at current school
Contributions to school and community through extracurricular activities
Student’s personal essay (150-200 words) focusing on career and educational aspirations (The review committee places great importance on this essay. Make sure it tells your story and represents you well.)
